FOODIE FRIDAYS.
i haven’t come across any laugh inducing photos lately, so let’s try something a little different this friday: foodie friday. these are some of the recipes on my “i’ve gotta make this” list. and i’m hungry. so without further ado….
{from two peas & their pod}
now, i usually prefer my pancakes with maple syrup (and as a vermonter, you have to go with maple grove), but these look too delicious to pass up.
{from gluten-free goddess}
sticking with the fruit theme, this salad would probably be tasty for any meal. it’s summery, gluten-free, and you get a whole bunch of protein. i purchased my first package of quinoa after a cooking demo at work and it’s actually not half bad, so this would be a great way to use up the rest of it.
{from a cambridge story}
there was a time that i would have stayed far away from these little morsels, but thankfully, my palate is changing (dipping my toe in the seafood pond too!). sometimes they can be a little on the starchy side, but adding a little crunch and a little honey sounds like a great idea.
{from can you stay for dinner?}
more chickpeas, people! ever since my co-workers showed me the amazingness that is sepal at cambridgeside galleria, i have developed an obsession with falafel. so, realistically, i’ll probably just walk over to sepal for lunch, but this baked version looks like a yummy option if i decide to be adventurous in the kitchen.
{from we are not martha}
during this heat wave of ours, you can’t go without an icy cold beverage, now can you? this margarita looks like a great choice for a party… or just to enjoy after work.
happy friday, kids!
Love love love this list of delicious food!!
