don’t use the same jokes twice in your spiel.
(this is less for me and more for the guide.)
oyster stout contains oysters but is really good.

then it was on to charlestown, where we were attempted to go to a pub that i had been to once before. i thought it was called tavern on the water, but it wasn’t. so we ended up at the real tavern on the water for the first time.

next, we put a water taxi ride on hold and parked near faneuil hall. we indulged in a beer at tia’s (outside seating with a view + air conditioning = pretty brilliant) and one at waterline in the longwharf marriott before staking out a spot on the grass in christopher columbus park where they were showing free sunday night movies.
court & i went to fetch some slices of pizza and water in the north end. yum. and then it was time for the night’s feature: E.T.! i had forgotten that it’s actually a pretty good film. and with views like this, it was even better.
