SUNDAY IN CONCORD.
i took my mom up on an invite to take the bus to concord and meet up with her for lunch and some shopping. it was really nice to see her and i got some great deals… $9.49 for a pair of gray flats at ll bean, anyone? i love when you get in line with a sale item and then the cashier tells you that it’s half of what you expected. i rode back to boston with 2 pairs of shoes, a dress, a pair of jeans, some pants for zumba, 3 shirts, a dvd and a potato masher. plus, we tried cityside grille for brunch (the country omelet gets two thumbs way up). if you’re in the area and want some breakfast, get yourself to 25 manchester street.
back in the city, after my leftover stuffed peppers, i tried to catch the southie sunset. it’s a little crooked and i didn’t get the best of the colors, but i can attest that south boston has some great sunrises and sunsets.
